A note on policy counts
Our FAIR Plan figures come from the Plan's ZIP-level data files and match the totals printed in those files exactly (for example, 665,862 residential policies as of June 30, 2026). The FAIR Plan's own dashboard headline reports higher figures — 675,229 dwelling policies as of the same date, a difference of 9,367 — and we could find no published document that defines or reconciles the two. The Plan's reporting materials note that “Totals may vary based on data source.” We use the ZIP-level files because they are the only FAIR Plan publication with geographic detail.
FAIR Plan Statewide History
Quarterly statewide policy count, total exposure, and written premium going back to fiscal year 2019. Granular quarters come from FAIR Plan DWE category PDFs; gap quarters are filled from 5-year history PDFs (fiscal year ends) and webpage chart captures preserved on the Internet Archive.
